On January 14th, 2010, we went to our first adoption meeting. That night we knew adoption was meant for us! We started the process and two months later we have sweet little Blake! Unbelievable! It has been a real faith journey! We struggled with fertility treatments for the last half of 2009, only to not feel at peace about it and stop the treatments. It was hard thinking that we were giving up on having a baby, but we felt so strongly that it was what God wanted us to do. The Lord proved His faithfulness to us over and over along the way and we are so happy that we trusted Him! I was able to be there for Blake's birth, and even got to cut the cord! The birth mom is only 15, but she made a decision wise beyond her years, and we were amazed by her compassion towards us. She wanted us to be the parents from the minute Blake entered the world. It was an amazing experience and I'm so glad we could be a part of our little guy's life early on. Our hearts are full of love and joy and we are overwhelmed by God's blessings!!! Thank you so much for all of your prayers and support!
